Build your first wholesale lot

Pick stagnant items, write a lot description, set a price, and publish to Closo's wholesale marketplace.

Wholesale lots let you bundle 2 to 12 items into a single offering and sell them to a bulk buyer (resellers, thrift shops, exporters) in one go. A lot holds at least 2 and at most 12 pieces, and the whole bundle has to physically fit one USPS Large Flat Rate box. If you have more items than that, group them into more than one lot.

Step 1 — Pick the items

Open Sell and click + Create lot. The picker lets you search by keyword, filter by category, and sort. To surface your oldest, slowest-moving stock first, sort by oldest. Multi-select between 2 and 12 items — the total wholesale value updates as you add more. Try to add 13 or more and Closo blocks it and asks you to split into multiple lots.

Step 2 — Write a one-line description

Buyers want to know: how many pieces, what categories, what brands, what condition mix. The shorter the better. Example: “8-piece women's clothing lot — Forever 21 / H&M / Gap, mostly XS-M, all clean and ready to ship.”

Step 3 — Choose a pricing strategy

Closo prices the lot off the estimated basis value of the items, and you pick one of three strategies rather than typing a freehand price:

High Volume — 15% of basis. Priced to move fast. Balanced — 20% of basis. The default, a middle ground. Max Profit — 25% of basis. Holds out for more.

For each strategy Closo shows what the buyer pays and what you take home, after a $1-per-item Closo fee. Pick the one whose take-home you are happy with.

Step 4 — Publish

Click Publish lot. It goes live on Closo's wholesale marketplace and stays up until sold. When a buyer buys it, you get an email; pack and ship within 5 business days.
