Followers and email marketing

Every follower is a buyer you can reach again — new-item digests, event announcements and campaigns, all with one-click unsubscribe.

The follow button on your storefront is the quiet engine of Direct. A follower leaves an email address, and from then on your shop can reach them three ways — every one of them honest, with a working unsubscribe in every message.

New-item digests

When you add items, followers get a short digest — up to six of your newest pieces with prices and links, at most once every three days. Nothing goes out when nothing is new, and the first email a follower gets is never a dump of your whole back catalog.

Event announcements

Announcing a flash sale or auction emails every follower once — with the discount, the start time and one button into the sale. Subscribers who pressed “Remind me” also get a reminder shortly before the start.

Campaigns

Email marketing in My Shop lets you compose and send a proper campaign to your list — pick the audience, preview the letter, send. Platform-wide caps keep any address from being over-mailed, so your letters land as mail, not as spam.
