Import your existing listings

Use the Import button to bring listings you already have on a marketplace into Closo — server-orchestrated and run through the extension. Depop is live now; Mercari, Poshmark, and Vinted are rolling out.

The Import button pulls listings you already have on a marketplace into Closo so you don't have to re-type them. Open Import under Inventory, click Import (top right), pick a marketplace, and Closo brings in the titles, photos, prices, and condition it can read from your existing listings. The status line at the top shows Extension connected, how many items were pulled and from which marketplaces.

How import works

Import is orchestrated by Closo and executed through the Closo Chrome extension in your browser. Closo plans the import and the extension does the reading from the marketplace on your account, then sends what it finds back to Closo. Because the reading happens in your own browser session, the Closo extension must be installed and you need to be signed into that marketplace in Chrome.

Which marketplaces you can import from

Depop, Mercari and Vinted import run through the extension; eBay imports from Closo's servers. If a marketplace can't refresh, the Import page tells you why — for example Vinted can't refresh — the Closo extension isn't running — with a Get the extension link.

Import vs CSV import

Import reads from a marketplace you're already connected to, so you don't need a spreadsheet. CSV import is the other path: you upload a spreadsheet of products. They're built for different jobs. If you're moving listings that are already live on a supported marketplace, use Import. If you're migrating from a spreadsheet or another tool's export, use CSV import — but note CSV import is capped at 10,000 rows / 50 MB per file, so a very large catalog has to be split into batches.

Open Imports

Review duplicates after an import. If some imported items look like products you already have, Closo shows N items may already be listed under another product — Review & link (also the Review duplicates button on the Import page). The Merge duplicates screen lists each pair side by side with a match score (Strong · 80%, Possible · 70%); use Strong matches only to narrow it down, then Merge to keep one product across every marketplace — a sale on one takes it off the others — or Separate to tell Closo they are different items and stop asking. Nothing is deleted.
