Orders — managing your wholesale sales

When someone buys one of your Sell lots, the order shows up here. Pack, ship, mark fulfilled.

Orders is your fulfillment workflow for wholesale Sell sales (it's separate from your marketplace orders, which Poshmark/Mercari/etc. handle on their own apps).

Order statuses

A sold lot moves through three statuses:

Processing — the buyer has paid via Stripe and the order is ready for you to fulfill. Shipped — you've generated a label and marked the order shipped; the buyer gets an email notification. Delivered — tracking shows the package was delivered.

Fulfilling an order

Generate Label — creates a USPS/Shippo shipping label and tracking number. If Shippo isn't configured, Closo falls back to a placeholder CLOSO… tracking number so you can still proceed.

Mark Shipped — once the package is on its way, mark the order shipped. The buyer is notified by email.

Your payout

Your payout on a sold lot is the sale price minus a $1/item platform fee. That's why your payout is a little lower than the lot's sale price — you'll see the platform fee broken out in the sale detail.

After tracking shows Delivered, Closo holds the payout through a 3-day buyer-protection window, then releases it to your Stripe payout. During those 3 days the buyer can open a dispute, which holds the payout until it's resolved.

Buyer disputes

Within 3 days of delivery a buyer can open a dispute (reasons: not as described, missing items, damaged, wrong items, counterfeit, or other), and they can attach photos. While an order is disputed, its payout shows as Held until a Closo admin resolves it — either by releasing the payout or issuing a Stripe refund.

Payout statuses you may see on an order are Held, Disputed, Released and Failed.
