Why my payout is on hold

Three reasons Stripe holds payouts, what each one means, and how to release them.

Closo uses Stripe Connect to send your payouts. When Stripe holds a payout, it's for one of three reasons.

KYC pending
Stripe needs to verify your identity (legal name, address, last-4 of SSN). Open Wallet → Verify identity. The session takes 3-5 minutes.
New seller hold
First-time sellers have a 7-day rolling hold so Stripe can confirm there\'s no chargeback risk. Releases automatically after 7 days from your first sale.
Risk review
Triggered by an unusual purchase pattern (a single huge sale, refund spike). Usually clears within 48 hours. If it persists, email support@closo.co.
